I
Don’t
Do
Trickle Down
Abundance.

I don’t do lack. I live in my own abundance, not someone else’s. Christ came so I may have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). My abundance comes from Him. I will not live down and out when my Father constantly provides. If no one else needed this reminder, I definitely did!

I choose abundance. You need to choose abundance. We can’t treat God like He requires a Dave Ramsey class or that He doesn’t know how to provide for His children. Instead, we need to realize He calls us to an abundant life. We can better help those in real need by not being in lack ourselves. An example, don’t wait for a handout when you are capable of making plans and doing better. Some of us are waiting for a break instead of taking the opportunity in the midst of the struggle and creating that break. We truly haven’t exhausted every possibility before declaring we need a handout. Then we take from those who are truly in need.

Making a gratitude list

Helping homeless people by ministering to them has truly opened my eyes to the fact that humans don’t need pity parties as much as we need to know we can attain our vision. That with the help of Christ in our life He wants more for us. He wants abundance in health, happiness, life, and yes wealth. He wants to see His people do well because it furthers His kingdom. When we remain broken mentally and our pockets reflect that mindset in effect we aren’t being true stewards. Being in abundance means you can give your time and talents back to the one who gave them to you. Instead, we live begging for crumbs from God’s table when He gave us abundance.

This isn’t intended to be a prosperity message. We’ll still fall and we can still lose it all. However, the difference between the person with a broken mindset versus a renewed mindset is the renewed mind gets back up and knows abundance is in life. They won’t live life being broke waiting for trickled down abundance but instead will affirm what God’s word declares and work towards living a great life, not just a safe or managed life. We can choose abundance in living. Wealth and money are not evil unless you live your life for those things, which will never bring abundance.

You got this!
